Spring break was a blast. I had a chance to go to South FL to visit my family and friends. We went out to eat and visited the beach. Though I didn't get the chance to visit the beach everyday I still did enjoy the one day i did go.
But on March 11th as I walked into my cousins room, my attention was instantly glued to the her TV as the breaking news story about Japan broke out. As i watched the vivid videos of the shaking buildings and the people running for their lives, this really put a damp on my mood because i felt so bad for them.
As i watched this event, it reminded me of the earthquake that occurred in my birth country Haiti on Jan 11, 2010. I was very fortunate not to loose any of my close family members. But most of my family were affected because they lost their homes and was affected by the economy.
As the death toll climbs in Japan I will continue to pray for them and hope that everything get better soon. But I also encourage everyone else to do the same and help in whatever way they can.

Getting Started
So I am really excited to really get started in my Camera Edit class because I have never taken a class like that before. The only experience i have with editing videos is with my macbook because I edit my videos that i put on youtube on there. I hope i can learn how to work one of those really fancy cameras, hopefully I never have to worry about dropping it on the floor (crossing my fingers lol).
