Learning to Work with Others

Learning to work with others was something I had to learn during my third meeting in my Camera Edit class. During this meeting we learned how to work the big fancy cameras.
But before all of that happened my partner was running a little late and another one of my classmates wanted to work with me. I would like to think that I am pretty easy to get along with. But that day I really thought there was something wrong with me. Because this classmate was the very bossy “its my way or no way” type.
First of, she was hogging the camera, which caused me not to learn how to work the different functions on the camera. When my original partner showed up, this classmate wanted to change the original plan that we had for our 1:30 story to her story idea. From that moment we realized that we were going to have a hard time working with her. Despite her attitude towards us we still remained respectful and kept our feelings and comments to ourselves in order to keep the piece.
At the end of the day someone from our class told me that she was saying negative things about me and my partner. This made me laugh because it was so petty.
